Winter

A winter proposal not only for sky.

A ski resort in the middle of the famous Stelvio National Park. In a valley reaching right up to the summits of the famous Cevedale Group, lies the town of Peio. It is the community that has the highest altitude in the Trentino region and it is the oldest tourist resort in Val di Sole, famous since 1650 for its thermal springs.

This winter sport resort is perfect for families with children - for people looking for peace and quiet and those who want to enjoy the long slopes extending down from the sides of Monte Vioz to the outskirts of town.

New in winter 2010-2011: the Pejo 3000 cable lift with two cable cars, each with a carrying capacity of 100 people, connects the Tarlenta area to the heart of the Ortles Cevedale mountain range at 3000 meters.

A modern and capacious lift system that goes all the way up to Valle della Mite, giving skiers the chance to plunge down an amazing and thrilling 8 km descent to Peio Fonti.

Thanks to this project, the extraordinary opportunity to ski at an elevation of 3000 meters in Val di Sole has greatly been enhanced.

Pejo SPA

The thermal waters of Peio been known for centuries for their curative properties of the joints, skin, urinary tract, respiratory and circulation. The medical staff provides assistance and programs for studying the psycho-physical recovery by combining hydro, thermal coal and gas, phlebology path, balneotherapy, inhalation therapy, various massage techniques, rehabilitation programs.

The center has an agreement with the National Health Service, INAIL and INPS.

The spa also features a cozy spa pool, fitness area, sauna, steam bath, solarium and jacuzzi and offers beauty treatments. Our hotel has an agreement with the thermal Pejo.

Slopes and lifts

Peio ist the oldest tourist resort in Val di Sole, located right in the heart of the Stelvio National Park. It is the perfect destination point for families that appreciate the peace and quiet of the surroundings even along the long slopes extending down from the sides of Monte Vioz.

The new Val de la Mite slope is 4 km long and starts at an elevation of 3000 meters.

In addition to skiing, there are other possibilities such as snowshoe excursions, ice skating and the chance to relax at the Thermal Spa.

Nationalpark Stilfserjoch

Stelvio National Park is the largest not only among the historical Italian parks, but also in the whole alpine chain.
